Chuck Los Angeles,  CA Secure and minimal wind noise Shoei RF1000 feels secure if not a little too snug for its size. I ordered one slightly larger than my head size, but I found it hard to get into and out of the helmet. I am amazed and impressed with the calmness at the freeway speed. The turbulence is minimal. At twice the cost of other middle of the road helmets, the cost benefit is an issue with me. But I hope never to find out first hand on how much better the helmet can protect my head.

John Schwarz northport,  NY Good Buy Very happy with this purchase. A huge upgrade from my previous helmet, lightweight and breathable. Occasionally the visor fogs up when at lights or stopped and I think it is due to the use of the under chin air resistor which can be removed. All in all very happy, would recommend.

Kevin Snick Port St Lucie,  FL Perfect!! Watching the video was the final selling feature for me. The wind tunnel test was important. This helmet handles the wind very well, and does not pull up on you. Nice on long rides. Cheek pads were too tight on my face. I had to remove a layer of foam from inside of pads, and now the helmet fits great. The paint job on these is excellent. The visor holds up to scratches very well. A++++ overall!!!

Bruce King Manchester,  MO Great Helmet I've worn this for several weeks now. It’s pretty comfy. I even ride with glasses on and the shield wide open no problems, other wise it does get hot.... but for long trips and rain ya can’t beat it. In retrospect, I may have been just as happy with the TZ-R. Ya cant beat SHOEI quality and Motorcycle Superstore is AWESOME!@!

James Woodstock,  NB What is there to say, it's a Shoei! This is my third Shoei helmet. I have tried others, bought a couple other brands also, but keep coming back to Shoei. This one is by far the best I've had so far. It is quieter than the previous ones (wind tunnel testing has paid off), the vents are reasonably easy to open and provide excellent ventilation, and is very stable. Also note, this thing is LIGHT! My first major outing was a constant three hour trip without stops, and not once did I want to rip the helmet off my head, it is almost as if it becomes part of you. The cheek pads are removable and came with an installable fog dam to help prevent the visor from fogging, as well as an installable chin cover.

Zach Shane Cumberland,  ME RF-1000 I have this in solid black with the chrome shield, it looks awesome. The Shoei decal on the front is painted on with silver metallic paint and it’s covered over with the finish so you don’t have to worry about peeling. Fits awesome.

Derrick Eleele,  HI Satisfaction Guaranteed My Shoei RF-1000 helmet fits perfectly and I am amazed at how well the ventilation system works. At only 50mph, I can definitely feel the air flowing through my hair. Love it and would recommend it to anyone.
