Roland St. Paul,  MN Almost satisfied I ordered this after reading the stellar review of the GM-68S on webbikeworld.com, hoping it would be comparable. Anyway, I'm happy with the build quality. The visor is very nice and detaches in seconds. It has one of the nicest gaskets I've seen, but did require some adjustment of the side plates and a small shim under the gasket to get a good seal. Fit is pretty good, slightly on the small side after using their chart to fit. However, the shell is kind of big for a Medium. My biggest gripe: Wind noise! I've tried 2 different bike windshields in several positions and finally gave up on that. The helmet is slightly quieter with no windshield. The bottom neck roll seems too loose and acts like a scoop. I gave each a stitch to hold it up to the internal lining which helped greatly. Even with all this wind noise, the top vent seems ineffective. For the price I'm satisfied, but I wouldn't order another.

Bill Macomb,  MI You get what you pay for I've had this helmet a year and a half and it's been garbage most of the way. It fits alright and is comfortable, but the visor doesn't seal when it's closed creating a high pitched whistle at freeway speeds. The wind noise from the helmet itself is also excessively loud. The shell seems much heavier than any helmet I've had in the past. I only paid $60 for it brand new, so I can't ask for much, but I just replaced it with and HJC (almost 3 times the price) and there is a huge quality difference.

TR K.C.,  PA GM85S review The helmet runs small. I bought a MD on sale, didn't fit, kept it for my wife. Then bought a large. Helmet is VERY comfortable. But, unfortunately, the shield design is terrible. There is a tiny "L shaped" little tab of plastic that goes in a groove. I mean tiny, like, 1/16" thick x 1/4" wide. TC University Place,  AZ product review I tried on several of the major brand helmets, and found that the G-Max GM58-S helmet felt as good as the Shoei helmets that were three to four times the price. I bought one, and have been very happy with it - it is very comfortable. It is both Snell and DOT approved, so I'm not sacrificing safety either.
