Jessica Chicago,  PA helmet This is my first helmet, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems to be a good helmet. Solid, comfortable, fun color. The sizing was just right as well and as for the reviews calling for a snap to secure the excess chin strap - there's actually a plastic ring that you can loop the excess strap through to keep it from flapping. It’s hard to find and I didn't notice it at first, but it takes care of the problem.

rmegrl alamo,  CA Its okay I used to ride quads and dirt bikes, and wore a Fox helmet, size large, and it was comfortable. This one seemed to be larger for me than what I would have preferred. But in Nolan I wear a Med. Air vents aren't the best, but okay when I’m driving, not riding. Chin strap flaps, which it was a snap. Paint on it is okay. I do like it, just expected more.

Patrick pittsburgh,  Nova Scoti helmet rating Having previous owned an older Bell, and first ordering an HJC helmet that turned out to not be Snell rated, I was sort of "Settling" with the AFX, but it turns out that I like it. I’ve had none of the above mentioned problems, and I really like that the lining and padding comes out for cleaning. My only real complaint is that the decals are clear coated onto the helmet, and I can’t take them off.

Rodney Sweat Hillsborough,  NJ helmet This helmet fit just perfect. Very comfortable. Would have preferred a snap that allows excess chin strap snap so it does not flap in wind. Also found an imperfection in the paint. A tiny chip in the paint. Just didn't want the hassle of returning the helmet for such a small place. The helmet performs well, but needs better vents in front for defogging during cool riding.

Andy Green Bay,  CT so-so I expected better. I have 2 other AFX helmets, and figured that all sizes within the company would run the same, but I wish I would have ordered one size bigger. I recommend buying the FX-10 instead.
