  • The GM68 features GMAX's Patented L.E.D. light on the rear of the helmet, which is incorporated into rear vent and has different easy to use light settings. Other features include:
  • 19 vents for "state of the art venting." 9 intake vents and 10 large exhaust vents to get the hot air out
  • High air flow top intake vents feature larger controls for easy use with gloved hands
  • Lightweight, multiple shells and styros for GMAX premium fit
  • DOT approved, lightweight thermo-poly alloy shell with quality clear coat finish
  • Plush, removable, washable Coolmax interior
  • Interior designed for noise reduction with noise reduction cheek pads,vented chin curtain and rear neck roll
  • Anti-scratch optically corrected shield with easy tool-less removal
  • Molded front air deflector directs hot breath air away from shield to reduce fogging and the adjustable chin vent directs fresh air upward across the inside of the inside of shield to help reduce fogging

randy tacoma,  WA Review on the GM68 I love the looks and the fit of the helmet, but it seems to be a lot louder than my Arai helmet. If I get a squawk box I don’t think I would be able to hear very good with this helmet on any long trips on the freeway.

Jason Kingston,  PA Great helmet - worth the price! This is a great helmet. It is light weight, looks great, and the airflow cannot be beat. The many vents provide good airflow and keep you very cool. The great thing is the vents are designed in a way where you don't get too much air right in your face, but you can feel it around you. Overall it fits good, the only downfall is the opening in the helmet is a bit tight, but seems to be getting better with use. The LED's are a great feature and really increase your visibility on the road. I use them everytime I ride at night. The outside of the helmet is very attractive, but a little softer than I would prefer. It could get marked up easily. However, overall for the price and the airflow you cannot beat it!!!

David Shelton,  WA GM68 Odessey Helmet A pretty good helmet all considered. Had it about a month so far. Doesn't seem to fit quite as well as my Scorpion and Icon and is SLIGHTLY louder. Far and away the best airflow so far for me. The led lights on the back are a nice add (plus entertain my wife when she rides with me), the speaker pockets are great, and the included tinted shield was a nice touch.

Doug Waipahu,  HI So much ventilation that it howls! For the price, this helmet is hard to beat. Previously I wore a KBC VR-2, at around the same price point. I would prefer that the helmet had EPS in the chinbar, but it does not. This helmet has a better shield than the KBC (though I have not tried the tinted shield yet), and the venting actually works. At high speeds the vents may work too well, actually. The vents start to howl at about 120mph! The first time it happened I did not know what was creating the noise was and it spooked me. Now that I know it's just another fun "feature." :)

Rob I Knightdale,  NC GM68 Odessey Helmet I was simply blown away with the fit and finish of this helmet when we received it and I have had many helmets after 25+yrs of riding. It was purchased for 3 reasons, the 1st PRICE, 2nd style, 3rd safety features. I do not know of another helmet that can compete with this particular model feature/feature vs price. One of the sources I used to help make my decision to buy it was webbikeworld. They were very impressed with the helmet as well. The finish is excellent, no bubbles or scratches and the vents open and close easily. I at first thought the light at the back of the helmet was more gimmick than functional, but on a couple of night rides I was told by riding buddies that it was amazing how visible the light is. I highly recommend this helmet.

Steve Eustis,  FL GMax Odessey Helmet Very nice helmet, very comfortable, great airflow. Moderate wind noise but no more than my other full-face helmet had, but this one is much cooler on the hot days.
