Greg Broken Arrow,  OK Really like this helmet Graphics look great and even better after I removed the HJC sticker above visor. The sun shade should be mandatory on all helmets. Helmet was a little snug to start but feels great after a few rides.

Edward Sunnyside,  NY All around good helmet Helmet has many good features including a sun visor. The sun visor is very easy to lower while riding and retracts with the push of a button. Inserts come out easy for cleaning. Only negative so far is wind guard for chin could use a snap to keep it in place when removing helmet.

Rufus Howard Pasco,  WA Replaced good old AC12 The IS-16 is noisier than my previous HJC lid but I bought it mainly for the retractable visor. The fit is very comfortable. I removed the chin curtain after one wearing, too claustrophobic. I tend to ride with the main visor up all the time and the flip down visor is just right to protect my glasses from wind and bugs.

Craig Hilo,  HI Perfect Combo! After many review searches and product comparisons, the HJC IS-16 Scratch came on top. The retractable sun visor is wonderful! I have used the sun visor in nearly every type of weather condition here in Hawaii and it has not been too dark or too light and the ability to ride with the clear visor up and still have adequate eye protection is a plus. I enjoy the fact that I do not need to carry an extra tinted face shield or sun glasses. I have been very satisfied with the HJC product line; great fit, nice graphics, easy to maintain, and great price.

Mark Honolulu,  HI Love the interior visor shade. I love this helmet. Much better than my Hawk Modular Helmet with regards to sound at highway speed. It looks and feels like a very good quality helmet. The outside visor is very sturdy and provides a good seal. The interior visor is awesome as it has 3 coverage settings and is strong enough to use on the highway with the main visor up.

Dennis Minneapolis,  MN Love It!!! I absolutely love this helmet! While I liked my HJC FS-10 helmet, this 2009 model is an improvement (and a better value). The excellent fit, three-stage retractable sun shield, improved air-flow and wild graphics make this a definite winner in the helmet industry.
