Fred Diamond Bar,  CA BETTER THAN MY X-ELEVEN? I did some research before buying this helmet. I never owned a BELL helmet and I have been riding for more than 15 years. But when I saw this 3 months ago I had to investigate since its $550. I could buy another X-11 for that price. This helmet is AMAZING. True to fit. Airflow is 110%. Not once was my head was pulled back going over high speed. And the most I wanted was a speaker slot and there it was. I could actually listen to my MP3(Bluetooth) with less noise even when all vents were open. My next helmet will be another BELL STAR but black. Well done BELL. WOW.

lawrence b grand forks,  BC sound I really like this lid but I cannot believe how loud it is! I really enjoy the lack of buffeting and the weight but now I'm considering ear plugs which I didn't need with my cheaper helmet. One of the top vents does not seem to close all the way or something because there is always airflow directly on top of my head. Now is not a problem but when it's really cold I don't think I'm going to be very happy with this defect. But what choice do I have? I pay $600 and now I have to live with it! The breath deflector also comes out much too easily. I'm embarrassed when I have to push it back into place every time it gets bumped. I don't know not really that impressed, it's not like money grows on trees you know...

Alves Lowell,  MA Bell Star Contra Black "Excellent Helmet" If you are looking for an excellent helmet, with a perfect finish, perfect fit and with an amazing air flow, don't waste your time anymore, you must buy a Star Helmet. Liners feel like silk, Ultra Super Fast and EASY Face Shield Removal, Great Quality and Finish, Lots and Lots of air flow, Aggressive and Unique Design, Comes with a very nice helmet bag and extra chin pads.

Hilster Lowell,  MA It's Absolutely a Great Helmet After a little waiting I've got my Star helmet and I've nothing to say except that I'm a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER! The overall helmet quality is outstanding, the liners feel like SILK, it fits comfortably and precisely. It has room around the ears for regular earplugs, the ultra quick release system is also great, it's actually & too quick to talk about it. The Helmets design has an aggressive look and it calls for attention; the vent system is much much better than my Sharks RSI. Buy with confidence, it won't disappoint you in any way!

Art Spence Hull,  GA Super-fine helmet Purchased specifically for racing. It replaced a Scorpion that has seen better days. The Bell is very light and comfortable. Would buy a size smaller next time. I wear a large in the Scorpion but would have been better off in a medium with the Bell. The helmet moves plenty of air and doesn't move around at speed. The visors are seriously high quality as I took a substantial hit from something that flew up off the track at Jennings; dead center on the visor but it didn't even scratch it. It is expensive but I feel it is well worth the money. Like the saying goes; "what's your head worth?".
