Jeff Lubbock,  TX KBC-VR-2 Racer Helmet I liked this helmet so much, I ordered another one. The color and venting work to keep my head cool. It also gives a quiet ride. It runs a little small, so if you are wondering which of 2 sizes to get, get the larger.

Andy Sidney,  OH Further input. My initial review (see below) was a bit premature, as I now have a few new 'issues' with the KBC VR-2. 1)The ordered dark-smoke shield isn't compatible with the OEM clear shield ratchet system (different ratchet design & side plates). Thus, the quick-change shield system is rendered useless - Unbelievable! Additionally, unlike my TK-8, the rather thinly-padded, perforated forehead liner leaves my forehead red and heavily pock-marked after just a short ride. I've been totally enamored with my KBC TK-8, but this VR-2 experience leads me to look elsewhere for my next helmet purchase.

Philip Fullerton,  CA new rider, 1st helmet I took a riding course to get my license. I bought this helmet before the class. I tried on several at a local store to take out the guesswork. This one fit best. The price on this site was excellent.

Visserfrik Langley,  BC VR-2 helmet The best deal with this helmet was the price. The helmet looks great and fits well. I'm not sure if the front vent control actually works though - seems the same open or closed. At higher speeds the helmet tends to want to lift on my head - but I suspect that any helmet would do that due to the rounded top (air wing effect). Overall quality for the price is still great.

Andy Sidney,  OH Excellent value, but... ...unfortunately the VR-2 Racer has some flaws. While the fit is generally good for me, it's not nearly as comfy as my KBC TK-8 Galaxy, and I had to remove the nose/breath guard as it rubbed against my nose. KBC's quality control seems to have diminished since my TK-8 was made too, as there are a number of small imperfections in the finish, etc.

Jake Valencia,  CA What a great deal!!! First look out of the box and you know it’s a quality helmet. Nice graphics and finish. Fit was a little tight at first but after the first ride it fits true to scale. Wind noise is no issue. KBC quick shield change system is tooless and very easy. I will buy KBC again.
