Michelle Los Angeles,  CA Great learning gloves, great summer gloves I now have just under 6,000 miles and 9.5 months with these gloves. I didn't think they would last very long because of the thinner soft leather between the reinforced palm padding and the reinforced leather at the base of the fingers. I thought for sure they would rip there, but they're still going strong (that area looks pretty much like it did when brand new), and I plan to use them again next spring.

Rob Albuquerque,  NM 1.5 years of abuse... These gloves can sure take one hell of a beating. I bought these in the summer of 2007, and have used them as an all-around glove, from working temp construction to sheet metal work, they've been soaked with aviation fuel, washed three or four times, have been my shooting gloves when I'm out with my army unit, not to mention all-year round riding so they've seen multiple rock hits, a hummingbird, rain, etc.. So..Yeah. To put it mildly, these gloves have seen WAY more than most people expect of a motorcycle glove. The seams have never torn, the leather's never worn through, and the velcro's never worn out. One of the little knuckle armor pieces came off, but that's not the end of the world. They fit my hands perfectly, they're comfortable, the palm armor is a little thick, but don't you want it to be when it really counts? Love 'em. I refuse to throw these ones away, even though I've retired them from motorcycle duty in favor of a new pair of Sidi Coibuss gloves. I expect at least two more years of all-purpose use from them. If you want a glove that will take all you can throw at them, buy these.

RJ Chassell,  MI Nice gloves I wear a size large glove so that’s what I ordered. They were so tight I could hardly get them on, had to return for an x-large. They fit ok but some of the fingers are a little long. I think $50.00 is a little pricey for a pair of gloves and the leather could be heavier for the price. They are nice looking gloves and have decent knuckle protection and padded palms. They should be cool enough with the perforated leather. Overall not a bad glove.

twon ellsworth afb,  SD Very nice gloves I got these because I hear Alpinestars has gloves for people with small hands like me. My problem is, my hands are too small. They still fit, but not tight enough I guess. These are very good though. They're sturdy and seem like you won’t get cold using them. The leather feels like it will actually work and not fall apart like some cheaper gloves. I would recommend these to anyone. If you're small like me at 115 lbs... you might just have to use them or another Alpinestars glove made a little different.

Rob Albuquerque,  NM Unbelievable Durability So I've had this pair of gloves since the beginning of summer '07. Used them as work gloves at times, they've been soaked in aviation fuel, used to protect my hands when working with sheet metal, soaked and dried, washed a few times, and been my normal riding glove on any day when the temperature has been above 40 or so. Yeah, they look pretty roughed up, but they've held up ridiculously well, they're still presentable, and all that use has broken them in perfectly. They fit my hands flawlessly. I've had no trouble with seams. One of the "armor" pieces fell off, but who cares. They're an amazing value, wonderful to ride with, and a truly outstanding value in gloves. Buy these and be happy.

Michael Blazey Northridge,  CA Large ? While these are very attractive gloves, I have hands that are no where near huge but the large gloves are not properly designed. Both thumbs are too short and the glove's fit is uncomfortable. I am going to stretch them out and try them, but it seems to me that the design is off a bit.
