Great for COLD weather
These gloves are well made and the description is very accurate. They are well padded with insulation that kept my hands warm and dry. I've worn these in a freak snow squall and in rain and not had one issue. The gauntlets are long enough to cover the sleeves of my jacket and do not allow anything in. I'm in Michigan so when I ride in to work in the morning there are days when it is at the 20 degree mark. My legs might get cold, but not my hands! Highly recommend purchasing these gloves.

Olympia - 4100 WeatherKing Extra II Gloves
They keep the hands warm on those cold mornings, even at freeway speeds. I've also worn them in light rain, and my hands were dry. The long cuffs fit over my winter jacket easily and snugged down quickly with the Velcro straps. It took a little while to get used to control operations with the thick palms, but that was a fair tradeoff for the warmth on 34 degree mornings. Hopefully they'll maintain their integrity over time.

Warm gloves but too little feel
These gloves have kept me warm so far--but I've only had them on when riding into the low 30's. They are reasonably good in the rain, where the leather does get wet, but my hands stay pretty dry. If there is a drawback to these gloves it is that the heavy padding really reduces my ability to feel my clutch, causing some “interesting” launches away from stoplights. I'd absolutely love these if they reduced the padding on the palm/palm side fingers, just leaving the heavy stuff on the back where it's really needed, but all in all, I'm happy with them so far.

Very Nice Gloves!
Just bought these gloves yesterday at price of $39.95 closeout as the store was awaiting newer styles. Decided to commute to work today. It's 27 degrees here in North Georgia this morning. My commute is about 12 miles. Gloves did excellent! Had previously just had cheapo gloves (and double gloved without adequate continued warmth) and decided that if I was going to try to ride all year then I needed to spend a little $$ on nice gloves. I'm glad I did! Fingers felt fine not cold at all. Although I haven't taken this on a long ride, I really think these gloves are going to do fine.

olympia 4100 gloves
i was looking for a cold weather glove before winter. Cost and quality always being a factor I found these gloves while shopping on line and decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. They fit just like they should and do a better than average job of keeping my hands warm when the temp drops. the only thing I would change is the thickness on the business side of the glove (the palm). They are a little thick and make feeling the throttle difficult.

Hard to put glove on-but good to 45 degrees on interstate.
My fingerless gloves wouldn't do. I thought the glove would be good to 30 degrees, but on the interstate 40-45 tops. Only fingers get cold though. All in all a great glove, but expensive.

Good purchase
I've been using these as my cold weather gloves for the last three years, and I've been impressed. For normal cool all the way down to freezing, these gloves keep my hands warm for hours at highway speeds. The only time I've really lost heat in my fingers was around 17 degrees, on a four hour ride, but that's asking a bit much of any insulated product. The sleeve cover is easy to operate, even with the thick gauntlet on your fingers, and seals well against your jacket preventing leakage. The fill does break down over time, but I'm buying another set. Can't beat these gloves! Oh yeah, the ribbing on the back of the hands makes an excellent face mask squeegee for rainy weather.

Weatherking Gloves
I have worn these gloves while riding in temps in the 30's, and my hands remained warm. I also have hand guards on my bike...these also help. The thickness of the tips of the gloves slightly diminish dexterity in operating turn signals etc., but I believe this is necessary for the integrity of the glove for warmth purposes. I like this glove for cold weather and rain, and recommend them.

4100 WeatherKing Extra II Glove
These gloves are warm to about 20 degrees on an unfaired bike after 1 hour at highway speeds and local traffic......after that your fingers will get cold....period. How cold is comfortable to you depends on you, not the glove. Below 20, get heated grips, a fairing or heated gloves....your fingers cannot generate enough heat to keep themselves warm, no matter how insulated.

Excellent protection. Looks like I finally found a set of gloves good to about 40 (with windchill about 25-30 F). A bit bulky but very comfortable. I’ve tried countless other gloves for cold weather before finding and liking these. Highly recommended.
