H20 Proof Summer Glove Quest-
Hand measures medium. Based on manufacturers sizing variations, I was glad I ordered the large size on these- They are very good fit for the medium hand, and are very comfortable on the bars. (So you are advised to order one size up) The 1st GearMasters are well constructed combination of leather, nylon etc., I did not fully test the claimed waterproof (only in light rain for ~ 1/2 hour) on the ride back from Nubble light, during which my hands remained dry. I'm hoping to appreciate the water repellence and the extended gauntlet with the two closure adjustments, under more severe conditions (although my riding bud chuckled at me using the finger squeegee, which did pretty well)

Firstgear Master Glove
The Master Glove worked very well for an 1800 mile ride up and down the California coast and inland. The ride took place in March, so the weather was varied from 80 degrees and sunny to the mid 40's and Rainy. The fit and finish is excellent, I've given the benefit of doubt re: durability (after a hard week of riding, all is well). They are full featured rain gloves at a GREAT price at the Motorcycle Superstore. My only concern is that during the warmer temp's they are a little difficult to put back on when your hands are damp. Overall an excellent glove!

Too hot for "summer" gloves
I use these gloves in Costa Rica. They are too hot to be a summer glove as they state in the description. The end point of the fingers feels bulky and the controls are not as easy to use when you have them on. I have not tried them on with rain, but I hope they do the work, if not then they might just end up as a backup pair of gloves.

leaked
After about an hour on the first use, hte left glove was completely soaked indside. I have sent back and will see. In rain the Sqeegee doesn't really help much. The loose fitting liner makes the golve hard to get on once your hand is a little damp. Very warm and padded for a summer glove - your hand will probably roast in warm temps. The throttle thumb part felt like it was made a little tight and fatiques my thumb after a bit. O ver all the glove appeared to be made well and of high quality. BUt it was not really what I expected for >$70. I don't know how the warranty/retyrn thing will turn out, but if I can I'd rather get a refund and a differnt glove.

update to my first review
I rode through what felt like a monsoon tonight. I did experience a brief failure in that water temporarily seeped into the glove at one of the fingers. When the rain let up a bit, the water began evaporating away. My hand stayed warm and dried up again. I am not too concerned about this as this glove is marketed as a summer glove and I have some cold weather gloves. However, this would be of concern if this happened in cold temperatures.

Master Glove
As a commuter, I was looking for a warm weather glove that was waterproof. I read the favourable reviews on this glove and gave it a shot. Today was the first day I've been in any significant rain since I've purchased the gloves and I'm happy to report that they performed as advertised. My hands were dry and not clammy. As for the rest...it is a comfortable glove. I feel like I have enough tactile feel and it lets me operate all of my controls without any problems, including my ipod shuffle.
