Gaerne G-RS Boot

The Gaerne G-RS boot has taken the G.P. circuit by storm! This revolutionary new design has not only changed the way you slip your boots on, but has taken the comfort and performance to a new level. GAERNE found that by creating the rear entry design, adding the upper pivot protection system as well as the gel ankle, that we have really captured a great fit. On the exterior of the boot, you will notice some new features as well. Starting with the rubber "Grip Guard", this feature will allow you to feel like a part of the bike when riding. Next you will see the aluminum buckles, the toe slider as well as the rear hell cap. These features not only make the boot look good, but will help extend the life of the product. Last but not least is the all new anti-vibration GAERNE sole for just the right feel on the pegs. Try a pair on and you will agree that its simple design is possibly the complex manufacturing magic that you have ever had on your feet!

Mason Cuprtino,  CA Great Boots! Good for my commute These boots really give me piece of mind that my feet/ankles will be protected in a crash. They are comfortable on the bike and seem to be quite sturdy. They are not too hot on my feet and actually get a little cold when temps are 50• or below. They are easy to get in/ out of since I use them daily. They are a little squeaky and the little metal plate over the ankle will rattle a little when you walk after a few weeks, but it's no big deal. To get rid of the squeak I sprayed a super tiny amount of wd40 where the ankle pivots and no more loud squeaking. Best boot for the price I've seen. FYI if you are used to soft touring boots you will have to relearn how to shift and adjust your shift lever with these stiffer race type boots.

Kriston Fontana,  CA great boots The Gaerne G-RS boots are everything that I could want and need. Fit perfect, look awesome, and are very comfortable. They are definitely worth every dollar. The buckle system works great. The rear entry to the boot is a plus. Squeaky when you walk, but I put a drop of silicone spray on the area and no more squeak. Now they’re perfect. My hat is off to Gaerne. Great boot, great price.

Whatever your boot size is then u should get the same size , thats what it will be . the carbon fiber looks good but wish i got black . they r easy 2 get on and off and they feel great when they r on . worth the price . 1st night out w/ them i got a few compliments.

aj Toronto,  ON Pretty happy with these boots I spent the entire day at the track with these boots never having worn them prior, fully expecting to have to "break them in" but as it turns out they don't need breaking in. They were comfortable on my feet the whole day. I did loosen the buckles once or twice, but I think I just over tightened them to begin with. No complaints so far. One thing, and this is really minor is that one of the flashy metal bits on the ankle (which is purely decorative from what I can tell) is a bit loose, so it rattles when I walk. I tried tightening the screw but it doesn't really tighten any more. I'm pretty sure I can fix this with a drop of superglue or some such. I also want to say that I'm really happy having put this order through Motorcycle-Superstore. I got really top notch customer service from these guys. I'll definitely buy again here.

Dan Portland,  OR Oh...the squeaking. If you can stand the squeaking, these are great boots - however, I would recommend finding a boot that doesn't have the cheap plastic to plastic front bracing. Maybe WD-40 would help.

David San Calros,  CA Great buy I had been using the Gaerne ST Dry waterproof boot but since I started doing more track days last yr, decided I wanted a boot with a higher level of protection. The G-RS is a full on track boot at priced considerably below the competition. The Pros: The sole really grips the pegs, I have an easier time hanging off in turns now that I don’t have to worry about my foot slipping off, Really easy to get on/off (rear entry). I get a good laugh watching other guys struggle with their boots as I slip mine on. Great looking boot with the typical high quality construction you expect from the Italians, particularly when it comes to footwear. Price, Price, Price, you get the picture! Cons: Mmmm.....Oh yeah, they are somewhat squeaky (Come on I had to think of something) Actually my toe on the left boot rubs a little when I walk and after a while get bothersome. Not sure if it's the boot or my foot though. Summary: Bottom line is I'm pretty damn pleased with them. BTW; I gave it 4 on durability only because I haven't had them very long (2 months) so can't really say how they’ll hold up over the long run, but my expectations are high.
