Alpinestars’ S-MX Plus racing boot raises performance and safety to new and unmatched levels with its innovative design, structural protection and comfort.

Features:
  • Contoured shin plate protector is injected with high modulus PU for superior impact and abrasion resistance
  • U shaped calf protector is impact resistant and protects the ankle and calf area. Additional protection is provided by the top recessed buckle structure
  • Interchangeable bi-injected PU toe sliders with snap-in assembly
  • Wide and ventilated heel counter extends to the ankles and is combined with a shock absorbing padded insert and self-molding foam ankle protectors
  • Replaceable sliders are positioned in the back and external section of the heel to allow the boot to slide and absorb shocks
  • Injected PU material extended to the to area
  • Large instep flex zone for maximum comfort and flexibility
  • Lorica and leather upper
  • Sole has been designed for improved feeling between the rider's foot and the pegs of the motorcycle
  • Instep speed lacing closure and a unique lateral zipper
  • Replaceable ratchet buckle closure on the calf features a hidden strap for security and is integrated with a calf slider
  • Synthetic forefoot lining laminated with open cell foam. Highly breathable lining on ankle and leg areas

Luciano Passaic,  NJ Great protection and looks! These boots fit great, I can wear them all day. I have a crash cage on my bike and they protect my shins from ever hitting it. the only gripe is the zipper, its a bit of a task zipping them up but as you put them on and off, the difficulty level lightens up a bit. Regardless, I would not trade them for anything!!

Steven Lacey,  WA Great boots These were my first pair of high end protective boots and they feel very sturdy. When I'm on the bike I feel like my ankles are well protected and your foot can only flex up and down and not very much side to side, which is good. Kind of stiff at first but they all are. The one thing that I don't like about these boots is that the plastic on the boots scrapes together and squeaks on each boot every time you walk. A friend of mine has had these for 3 years and hers squeak even worse, so the problem doesn't go away. Overall they're expensive but seem protective and comfortable.

Scott Puyallup,  WA Alinestars Smx Great boot. I compared to the Sidi's that were similar price. Alpinestars fit a lot better and were more comfortable. I have a wider foot and the Sidi’s did not fit my foot width wise. I wore them around the house for a couple of hours and that was all the break in they needed.

Eric Richland,  WA Really great boot...zipper needs work These boots are well worth the money. They do take some breaking in as they fit snug. I went a half size larger then my size and was glad I did. These are comfortable to walk in after they are broken in which is around 4 or 5 rides. My only complaint is the zipper uses to small of a tooth on it. The handle has the tendency to hang when you are zipping it up. Nothing has broke, but if you don't pay attention you can damage the darn thing. Other than that they good boots for the money.

Alex Bradford,  ON Wiced Good Boot! I’ve worn Sidi boots pretty well my entire riding life and bought these on a recommendation from two good friends who swear by them... Now nothing against the Sidi boots I’ve worn them over 6 years now because I like them but this S-MX Plus boot hands down in my opinion is much better. The boots feel broken in right out of the box, the comfort level in unreal. You feel very protected with them on and the peg and clutch feel is awesome! I feel like a direct extension of the bike. The only draw back is the tiny noise you sometimes here when walking but that’s really no biggie. Boot run true to size.. I wear size 10 sneakers and the 10's fit me perfect.

Bob B. The Dalles,  OR Very disappointed I thought that for $280.00 I'd get leather boots. Nope, tag inside reads: Synthetic upper, Synthetic liner, Synthetic sole. The zipper is hard to close. And the flap covering the zipper doesn't lay flat with the boot's outer surface. These boots were going to be my start to an upgrade from Frank Thomas gear to Alpinestars. Not sure now.
