Great riding shoes... but wide feet, beware.
I bought these shoes knowing they were made for narrow feet, hence the caution in the subject line... but I have what my family likes to call bam-bam feet! I bought one half size larger and they've broken in perfectly. I can feel that the shoe is a tad narrow, but the break-in really helped. This riding shoe is comfortable for walking around and also comfortable on the bike. I like the zip-up/Velcro setup, very easy on/off... and the added padding around the ankles feels nice too. All in all, it's a great riding shoe that I would definitely recommend!

These shoes look great!
Wore these everyday for almost a month and these riding shoes are great for everyday street riding and they look great! I wear these everyday to school and they are very comfortable and my feet feel very safe. The usual comments I get are "Nice basketball shoes". The only complaint I have is the side zippers are kinda fragile. I zipped them up once and the zipper got out of track. I would definitely recommend these shoes/boots to anyone that rides.

Alpinestats Octane Riding shoes
I purchased the Octanes because I wanted an easy-on, easy-off shoe for riding. I didn't want a boot since my suit has shin armor already and it gets a little bulky when wearing a boot. I selected the Octanes because they didn't have laces. The fit is true to my shoe size. I have wide feet and these are comfortable. I can't speak of the durability since they've been holding up fine so far and I haven't wrecked. But, they look like basketball shoes and they fit and feel great so I'm happy. I just hope they hold up!

Sweet Shoes
The shoes fit nice and feel good. A lot of boots and shoes are just too bulky, but these are just the right amount of protection without all the extra material.

They're "High Tops"
So I ordered the Octane's because I wanted an easy shoe for my commute that didn't have laces. These definitely fit the bill with the velcro and zipper closures. I wear a 9 and ordered a 9 and they fit fine. They feel like stiff soled "high top" basketball shoes, very comfortable out of the box. I was disappointed that there's no ankle "armor," just padding. I guess the velcro flap is the protection. The heel is well protected with the plastic though. And the toes have protection from hard plastic also. I gave them a Neutral rating for durability since I just received them and can't speak to how well they hold up yet. The Features I was also semi-neutral on as I wish they had some type of ankle armor. The price was too high for what I got. I feel like I could have paid half the price and got the same type of protection from a cheaper boot. At least these things are super comfortable, I just hope they last.

My second pair of these shoes. First ones still OK after a year; just wanted backup. They're comfortable in daily use and I don't have to worry about any ankle damage in case of........

Kick ass shoe
I got these shoes a few months ago. I was looking for a nice summer shoe that covered all the right areas and looks good too. What I love about these shoes is that when you are wearing pants no one can tell that they are motorcycle boots. They look just like regular shoes and feel like one too. As for riding they are comfortable as hell. The first week I got them my buddy and I went on a 3 hour ride and didn't have sore feet. If you want the best riding boot get these, it will be one of the best decision you can make.

Great incognito boot
I bought these "shoes" because I wanted a safe riding boot that didn't look like a boot. I've worn them to work a few times and everyone comments on my new basketball shoes. I thought the fit was a 1/2-size too big, but nothing to worry about. Very happy with my purchase.

Great!!!
I bought this riding shoes for my husband I was worried about the size I got him but they fit him great and they were his actually shoe size. He loved them and says they are really comfortable to ride. He is very pleased with them and says they are not stiff like other shoes are. So in the end great purchase.

Octane riding shoes
Overall they are doing everything I bought them for. They were a little tight at first but broke in quickly after wearing them all day for 2 days. Where the tongue area meets the shin was somewhat stiff but that went away after a week. They feel good while riding and the toe box size made for easy shifting. The only thing I would change is to make the graduation at the heel a little more square so that your feet feel more solid against the pegs. I've got a lot of compliments on them and they seem built to last.
