Product Description
Sidi Way Rain Boots

Sidi, continuously researching new technological solutions to enhance rider safety, is proud to present the Way Rain boot. With Sidi’s great style, feel, support and quality there are no finer performance off road boots in the world.

Non-Bootie Designs: Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome; add to the boot’s thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider’s performance and comfort.

Lining: Each boot is lined throughout with lightweight perforated Teflon treated fabric in order to allow moisture to “breath” out to the Lorica outer and dry quickly with no mold build up in the long term. Additionally the inner ankle area of all Strada series boots are fully lined with Sidi’s own formula of perforated closed thousand-air cell memory foam. A totally breathable lining system.

Composite Insole: Sidi is the only manufacture to use a composite insole that is anatomically shaped to the rider. A cushioned liner is provided that can be removed if the rider desires a more roomy fit. Sidi does not use steel shanks riveted to its insole like most manufactures, details such as this enable Sidi boots to enjoy a multi year service life versus the competitors multi month lifespan as over time, a steel shank can deteriorate, rust and fracture exposing the rider to injury.

Lorica®: Boot's outer is fully constructed with Lorica, a composite micro fiber material created from strands less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Lorica is also highly resistant to abrasion - yet it still breathes - with more than three million pores per square centimeter. Easy to maintain, Lorica doesn’t stain and can’t be scratched and offers, reduced weight, more flexibility and more feel than leather racing boots.

Features:
  • Rain membrane to add a water resistant yet breathable barrier between the elements and the rider’s feet
  • Lorica – Cordura outer construction
  • Perforated Teflon treated nylon lining
  • Composite inner sole
  • Removable arch support
  • Internal heel protection

  • Zipper and Velcro closure system
  • Full length inner gaiter

Kit Carson Lexington,  SC Best boots I have ever had. The fit is great, the design is great, they are a comfortable boot as I have walked quite a distance in them too. They are dry and simply a great boot.

JC Cambridge,  MA Great boots This is my first pair of Sidi boots and they seem to live up to the reputation of the reviews I’ve read online. The outer is mostly made of something that looks just like leather and doesn't seem to scuff at all. After two months of daily use no scuffs at all. The least durable part is the rubber sole but that depends on how much you walk in them. As claimed they are waterproof up to the top of the zipper, even with the zipper and Velcro undone (I dunked them unzipped in pot of water for 30min). They are relatively comfortable for boots that extend up and have shin and ankle protection. For the protection, features, and quality they are worth the price. It's true they are fit for thinner feet (suits me all the better), but they have another model for wider feet (the Mega version).

Josh Washington,  IL Way Rain Boots I purchased the Way Rain Boots because I heard SIDI makes the best motorcycle boots, and I tend to find myself in the rain. Overall construction was great, build quality was top notch, but in the end I didn't like the fit and returned them. I like a boot that is a good fit on my foot, and this seemed ok, but around the ankle and up it just flopped around and there was no way to close them down tighter. I then tried the On-Road Gortex boots; they were no better I returned them too. As of yet I have not found a boot fit I like.

Dirk Lafayette,  LA Sidi Way Rain Boots The boots were very comfortable, as I wore them from early morning to late night. We experienced rain almost every day, however Sidi Way Rain boots kept me dry.

brad goldsboro,  NC Awesome Beautiful craftsmanship. When I opened the box I was very impressed with the boots and even the packaging was impressive. I bought these after I learned the less inexpensive boots were less inexpensive for a good reason. These were well worth the money and are a true investment as they seem like they will last a number of years whereas my other boots were lucky to make one year and never really inspired confidence...I actually ended up getting a more expensive mx type boot for my longer highway rides as I wanted more protection. These seem to have as much protection as my 'mx' boots but without the look AND are waterproof as well. These not only feel great but they look great as well...I now see why some people absolutely love SIDI... I normally wear a 12 and bought the 12.5 which fits just right. $200 may sound like a lot if you're just getting back into riding but if they last X number of years it makes it well worth it. If you spend half as much on a pair of boots chances are you're getting half the protection and features like I found out initially.

Timmy Langley,  BC Great boots The Sidi Way Rain boots are great. They've broken in perfectly and are very comfortable even when walking for considerable distances. I recently went for a ride in the Himalayas and the boots provided the necessary protection and comfort throughout the whole trip.

Blair Gansevoort,  NY non-leather boots Ffinding non-leather boots can be difficult. These fit the bill and are very comfortable. I just wish they were less expensive.

David Boston,  MA Great boots I bought both these and the Sidi Sport Rain boots. Problem with the sports were that in sizes 11+ come in a lugged sole which prove to be way too chunky for my shifting set up. The Way Rain boots were a nice compact sole and much easier for my size 11.5 foot. True to size fit, I would say - 11.5 is my regular shoe size and that is what I bought. Great fit. I don't think these boots were terribly stiff at all when they arrived. Took me no more than a few minutes to get used to them. They do flex up in time as well. No noticeable over-wearing in the sole yet but it has only been a few months. Worn them on high '80s days. Fine for riding, but I switch into regular shoes at work. In colder weather I'd have no problem walking around in these if I were out riding all day. They look pretty awesome too. I wear short-sport socks in the summer and the inside of the boots are amazingly soft and comfortable. Plenty of room if you want to tuck pants into them or put them over. These boots come up nice and high over the shin as opposed to the Sport Rain which are too short. These allow your pegs to rest against them when feet are planted. Great boots... worth the price. Highly recommended.

Mike Kingston,  NY Nice Boots Fit well, maybe a tad big but very comfortable. Getting used to such a light boot. Haven't gotten caught in the rain but I'm sure they will prevent wet socks. Italian quality, no doubt. Expecting them to last a long time, just like my Sidi bicycling shoes.
