Product Description
Sidi Way Rain Boots

Sidi, continuously researching new technological solutions to enhance rider safety, is proud to present the Way Rain boot. With Sidi’s great style, feel, support and quality there are no finer performance off road boots in the world.

Non-Bootie Designs: Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome; add to the boot’s thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider’s performance and comfort.

Lining: Each boot is lined throughout with lightweight perforated Teflon treated fabric in order to allow moisture to “breath” out to the Lorica outer and dry quickly with no mold build up in the long term. Additionally the inner ankle area of all Strada series boots are fully lined with Sidi’s own formula of perforated closed thousand-air cell memory foam. A totally breathable lining system.

Composite Insole: Sidi is the only manufacture to use a composite insole that is anatomically shaped to the rider. A cushioned liner is provided that can be removed if the rider desires a more roomy fit. Sidi does not use steel shanks riveted to its insole like most manufactures, details such as this enable Sidi boots to enjoy a multi year service life versus the competitors multi month lifespan as over time, a steel shank can deteriorate, rust and fracture exposing the rider to injury.

Lorica®: Boot's outer is fully constructed with Lorica, a composite micro fiber material created from strands less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Lorica is also highly resistant to abrasion - yet it still breathes - with more than three million pores per square centimeter. Easy to maintain, Lorica doesn’t stain and can’t be scratched and offers, reduced weight, more flexibility and more feel than leather racing boots.

Features:
  • Rain membrane to add a water resistant yet breathable barrier between the elements and the rider’s feet
  • Lorica – Cordura outer construction
  • Perforated Teflon treated nylon lining
  • Composite inner sole
  • Removable arch support
  • Internal heel protection
  • Internal ankle protection
  • Internal toe protection
  • Zipper and Velcro closure system
  • Full length inner gaiter
  • Lorica toe shift pad
  • Double stitched in all high stress areas
  • Reflective heel panel
  • Nylon plate and internally padded shin plate
  • Non-slip Sidi sole

Mark Ventura,  CA Better than expected Really like these boots, now!!!! When I first unwrapped them I almost sent them back, they felt stiff, looked plasticy and I was just general disappointed. Was I ever proved wrong, they fitted like a glove within a week, the stiffness disappeared and they keep my feet like toast on a cold day. I'm in So Cal and wore them today, started out in 61 deg weather and there seems to be plenty of ventilation to keep them cool. Then ended in the mountains with 38 deg and my feet were lovely and warm. Being generally a fair weather rider, I can't comment on the waterproofing, but I can easily see that they will deliver everything they say will. Would thoroughly recommend these boots if you’re looking for something less aggressive looking and logo riddled. A little pricey, but you do get what you pay for and I feel it was money well spent. Sizing is a little off, I’m a us 12 and a 12.5 fit perfectly.

Keith Wichita,  KS Sidi Way Rain Boot - A+ Most of my riding is “sport - touring” with my Honda VFR Interceptor. I wanted a boot that would have the features and protection of a “riding” boot, but have enough comfort and flexibility to wear while walking around off the bike. These boots turned out to be the perfect choice for me. They were comfortable right out of the box, and were VERY comfortable after a few weeks of riding. I have a low volume foot, so I added a gel insole - worked out great.I ride to work a few times a week. The Sidi Way Rain boot has a design that I can live with while in the office. They don't “scream motorcycle boot”! BTW, I have no problem wearing them all day at work - Great boot! I would recommend them to any casual sport-touring rider looking for a great mix of comfort, function and protection. Buy these boots if you don't want to feel like Herman Munster, wearing bricks on your feet - like some of the other choices out there!

Balaji Tampa,  FL Good Fit and a Fine shoe I used this shoe for my 3200 mile trip from Tampa, Fl to Blue Ridge Park way. It was really good. Was not too hot when it was hot in Florida and to a certain extend kept it warm when it was 50 degrees up in the mountains. Very easy to walk with. It looks simple so not too much will go wrong. It kept the water out as well, great all around boot.

Bob Cusick Moorpark,  CA Highly Recommend Just got the boots last week - took them out of the box, then did 150 miles. I didn't even know they were there. The next day, I did 300 miles - and they're more comfortable than the hikers I was using. They are cool in warm temperatures (it was 85-97 degrees) - haven't tested in cold yet. Very pleased with the purchase. Size 11.5 - fits 11.5.

Richard Fairbanks,  AK Breakin Period Required I just received my new Way Sidi's today and am wearing them for the first time. I ordered size 11 as that is actually 1/2 size larger than my current foot. The boots at first were a bit difficult to squeeze my foot into, but I believe that they will loosen as I wear them around the house for a few days and as I use them on the road. My foot fits into them like a slightly tight glove, but I get a feeling of confidence from that (perhaps misplaced) because I know that if I lay the bike over, my foot won't be flopping around. The material feels thick like a good piece of leather, but the boots are extremely light for their size. I think I will be greatly pleased with these boots, and can't wait to challenge their waterproofness against our Alaskan rains in the interior and on the coast. I don't think that I will be suffering like I did this last 4th of July.

Gary Chater Derry,  NH Sidi-Way Rain Boots I like these boots a lot. Fit well right out of the box. I bought size 10. I have a slightly wider foot than normal, but these boots seem to fit my foot well. So anyone with a little wider foot, this boot should work for you. Boot height is 12-13; Size runs true. By your shoe size. They look good and zipper is on inside of leg vs. out. Haven't hit rain yet, but I have no doubt my foot will be dry when I do. Only problem so far is tag on inside of boot rubs socks to point of pulling material loose. I don't know if it’s just the brand of sock I am using, perhaps woven to loose, or it will do this to all socks. I am thinking a piece of tape to hold tag down. If I cut the tag, it might make it worse. Time will tell. Such a little thing to complain about on a very good comfortable boot.

Gordon Vancouver,  WA Good Boot I've owned a pair of these boot for over two years and I find them comfortable enough to wear all day. They are great in rain, cold or hot weather. The weak spot on these boots are the zippers, they need to beef them up a bit. I was hoping to get more than two yeas from this boot but the broken zipper forces me to replace them. Over all this is a good boot for the price. I plan to buy another pair.

David richmond,  VA Way Te-Por These are very refined and high quality boots. Excellent build and construction. They appear to be 100% waterproof, but therein lies the problem. They get hot, really hot on 80-90 degree days. They have a sweat wicking material, but seems to be moderately effective. Overall, they are comfy, fit nice and zip in and out quickly, they would be great for cold and moderate climates. Made in Romania.

So I took my F650 Dakar and went to a local mud hole, with all the rain here in Fl. it was real wet, some spots 12"-18" deep: feet were dry, never got wet !!!!! Also the new pants from Fieldsheer kept out water from top of the boot. Very satisfied!!!!
