Frederick Kranich spring city,  PA kinda get what you pay for This is a vest is can only really be used in addition to a jacket. the only real protection on your chest is about a four by four inch piece of rubber, and I feel the back could also be a little stronger. Basically I feel this vest wouldn't do much to protect you in a crash. if you can save a few more dollars and buy something else then do it.

Carlos Frankfort,  KY Icon -Field Armor Vest I purchased this as a new rider, with the notion that I would just stop using it once I "got good at riding". A couple of months later, I'm much more comfortable on my bike, and I'm still wearing the vest. It is easy to put on under clothing, fits great, and it doesn't chafe when worn on bare skin. It doesn't have the most protection on the market, but it is better than nothing, and it's priced right. There is no better value right now.

SV650 Rider Graham,  WA Great hot weather protection This vest is great for the hot weather, but I found the fit around the shoulders a bit loose. The fit around the waist was good. I am 5'9" and 220ibs.

Matthew Fort Gratiot,  MI Feel Safe I ride a Harley Davidson, but I admire the sport bike scene and its advances in riding armor. This product is a great example of those advances. I wear this vest under my jacket & I feel much safer than I did before. The sizes did throw me off a bit. I'm 6 feet tall, 195 lbs., with a 44 inch chest and a 34 inch waist, and I take the XL. (I was just a tad too big for the Large). Use that comparison as best you can for your purchase. I'd recommend this piece of equipment for anyone who wants to ride safe!

Dudebrah Vancouver,  BC Great Value Worth the price. From a fit stand point this is the best helmet I have tried. The small plastic snap on the chin strap is the only thing I would change as it looks a bit cheap and easy to break.

JS Clemson,  SC Great buy This is one of the best buys I've made. The vest is extremely customizable to your size: everything is velcro, so you can pull it apart and resize it to fit your body completely. The spine protector is plated to follow your back comfortably when you bend. My two complaints are: I wish the chest protector was a hard plastic or a harder rubber, and I wish there was shoulder protection. Other than that, this is a great substitute for the full jacket on 100-degree days and short rides.

Larry Bremerton,  WA Durability Questionabale After wearing, I noticed a tag that came with it. It implied that the vest will not protect you. I have since researched other MC armor and find that they are certified but not the ICON version. It may be better than nothing.
