Jarrod Spokane,  ND Peace of mind I considered getting chaps for leg protection until I found these shorts. I enjoy being able to wear these under jeans and feeling comfortable riding or not. I also like the added confidence of knowing that I'm knot relying solely on denim to separate skin from pavement. I wore these on a 300 mile trip recently and, other than being a little warm in the crotch (mesh crotch works well but isn't perfect), they were perfectly comfortable. Jason Denver,  CA Good Product is good. I wear mine under a pair of denim jeans with knee guards. I don't plan on testing it out, but it seems as though it would provide SOME protection against abrasion if I were to go down in them. It's no substitute for pants, but for those that aren't likely to wear bulky pants on rides through town, these are a decent alternative.

tcpmp Coupeville,  British Co Awesome I looked around for awhile for something to help with long riding and chaffing. I didn't want something really expensive but didn't want something cheap. This product met all of my expectations and more. It feels funny standing up but great when riding. I wore it for a 8 hour trip through the Cascades and I wasn't chaffed at all. I am a sportbike rider. 5'9" 190lbs.
